7 Most Incredible Performance in Immortal Song 2 of 2016

Hi there! It may my first article for this new site. Currently, Immortal Song 2 gets me much attention. I knew this program from youtube on KBS World channel. For you who doesn't know what kind of program it is, it's more likely a live-singing show in contest concept. The singers who participated here came from all over the place, be it idols, well-known singer, indie musician, or lesser known artist/singer. I really like the concept because it's really showed up their singing skill. They not sing ordinary song, but legend's song like the tagline Immortal Song 2: Singing The Legend. After singing a song, they will be voted by audiences there. The last standing singer is come up as winner of the episode. I really love how they successfully catched audiences’ heart, in definitely their 'own' performance. Here I would like to note my most incredible performance in Immortal Song 2 of 2016. Some of these performances even make me cry a river. So, check this out!

7. Roy Kim - At Around Thirty
Actually, it was the first appearance Roy Kim in this show but he really did the best. It was Kim Kwang-Seok Special episode. He brought song entitled At Around Thirty and he was only 24. This song reflects how people at thirty hide their tears of this life. Roy Kim did not fails to impress the audience with his sweet voice and smooth performance. Watch his incredible performance below:

By the way, my favorite line is I didn't send her away, and it wasn't me who left her. Deep isn't it?

6. Homme - Snow Flowers

Homme is vocal duo composed of Lee Hyun and Changmin (2AM). They sung Snow Flowers which is a popular soundtrack of serial drama I'm Sorry, I Love You. This drama first aired in 2004 and the soundtrack still outstanding. They have another characteristic; Lee Hyun's voice is heavier and Changmin is the light one, sound a little fresh. This performance is another version of the original which more modern. Definitely not an ordinary song, it's a perfect lullaby to company your night. 

5. Kim Feel - Like Being Shot (Baek Ji Young)

The winner of that night? Yes, he is! Kim Feel never disappoints. Its like I can feel all the pain through him, I can feel every single word he says. Feeling so heartbroken and lost, feeling so painfully sad when in reality I'm in a perfectly good place. I got goosebumps all the melodies. His voice just like a gun.

4. Ailee - Don't Say Words That Hurts

Just an amazing performance in all aspects. Such a powerful and emotional voice. Ailee's powerful vocals impressed everyone as always, even her performance didn't make her the last one standing, it doesn't matter. Some people got cry a river, by the way. This song tells a relationship that would be ended. "Don't Say Words That Hurts", mean the words that hang up in mouth might be hurt as much that words is "let's break up." So, he or she who loved his lover is just begging through this song. But it doesn't change anything, they were broke up, and the one who loved more at last just say "Don't be hurt." Ugh.. powerful, deep, breathtaking in much ways.

3. Byul - Come Back To Me Again

A song of plently love a daughter for her father. "Please don't look back." Video below will describe the feeling and the crying.

2. Stephanie - Choice (Baek Ji Young)
It's time for the korean dancing queen, Stephanie. She always perform in different magically way! Her voice such blends with her moving. An enchanting art from a powerful song. I'm in love with beautiful performance. Heart-wrenching! Watch her incredible move at 45:17 below.

1. Kim Feel - Wait For Me

In this emotional episode the performers paid tribute to the late Korean singer Kim Kwangseok. Kim Feel's breathtaking performance of “Wait For Me,” which brought many audience to tear and made him the last man standing. He brought only guitar and his powerful-sorrow voice, then followed by other instruments. Deep isn't it? Asking the one you love to wait. The line that makes me tear up was "I'm looking for a way to love you forever.. Where can I find it? The path to your heart.." 

"You always seem so far.... away." 

"Please wait for me..."

Okay, that's all my opinion of amazing Immortal Song 2016 performance. In addition, this program didn't only perform sad song. Many girlband like Mamamoo or Melody Day that appeared. They perform a cheerful song, then the audience votes was great too. But for me, the most incredible was the song which full of emotions.
