A Girl in Another City
I walked in nowhere in search of the brightly lit city
But it's cold and dangerous
Wandering around, I land a doorstep
Only to drink my own hot tears
I'm here from far away in search of my dream
I traveled a long and risky distance
Where is the forest and where is the swamp?
No one here tells me
People each seek out their own hometowns
Wandering through the building, I end up at an alley
Still only to drink my own hot tears
Will that star know what I'm going through?
Will it know what I dream?
When I'm upset, I sing a sad song
When I'm sad, just want to close my eyes and be alone
Hearing the smell of my hometown
